  • Rangefinder - Range Accuracy, Maximum Range, Specification and Function, Target Measurement/ Detection, Measurement Modes, Setting Profiles and Bonus Functions/Devices
  • Precision Shooting - Bench Techniques, Shooting to Rifles Potential, Parity with Field Shooting, Proper Support, Body Position, Breathing, Trigger Control, Techniques, Free Recoil, The Grip, Anchor Point, Bag Pressure, Two Point Support, Follow Through and Spotting Techniques
  • Cleaning and Maintenance - Classroom Discussion and Demonstration, Tools and Supplies, Techniques
  • External Ballistics - Spindrift (SD) and Mitigating SD
  • Shooting out to 1000 yards Practical exercises


Warren Ranch

This is a combined Foundation and Development course over a two-day span held at the Warren Ranch in Santa Anna TX.

Warren Ranch is located in North Central Texas in Brown and Coleman Counties, less than a three hour drive from Austin, Midland, and the Dallas/Ft.Worth Metroplex, four hours from Lubbock and five hours from Houston. 

Commercial air travel is available via Dallas to Abilene (2.5 hour drive). Private air travel is available into Coleman (a 15 minute drive) or Brownwood (a 25 minute drive).


Your destination Santa Anna, TX. Lodging and meals at Warren Ranch is included into the price of class. Check-in will be the evening before the first day of class and check out will be the morning on the 2nd day of class.


If you are flying by plane, we recommend flying into Dallas Fort Worth, Houston, Austin, or Odessa Texas. Commercial air travel is available via Dallas to Abilene (2.5 hour drive). Private air travel is available into Coleman (a 15 minute drive) or Brownwood (a 25 minute drive).

Car Rentals:

Please make car rental plans with your flight arrangements, Gunwerks does not offer transportation to and from the facility for the course. 

All applicants for our training courses must be US citizens not legally barred from possessing firearms. For non-US citizens interested in a training course, please call us directly (307) 296-7300.

All event attendees must complete our liability and media waiver.

Student Cancellation:

Train or Compete:

If you need to cancel a training or competition more than sixty (60) days prior to the earliest event date, your deposit will be refunded. If you cancel a training or competition in less than sixty (60) days but more than thirty (30) days prior to the earliest event date, you can rebook the training or competition for an available alternate date. If you cancel a training or competition less than thirty (30) days prior to the earliest event date, your deposit is forfeited and non-refundable.

Gunwerks reserves the right to change or amend these policies at any time.

Student Rebooking:

If you need to rebook a class MORE than thirty (30) days before your scheduled class date, you may rebook (transfer to another class) without any fee. 

If the rebooking is to a more expensive class, you are responsible for the price difference. If the rebooking is to a less expensive class, you will receive a refund of the price difference.

Gunwerks Class Cancellation:

In rare circumstances, Gunwerks may need to cancel a class. If this occurs, you will be notified as soon as possible and given the option of either a full refund or a move to another course of the same value.

I wanted to thank you for the superb Level 1 and 2 classes I attended. Where this was not a result of “1,000 yards right out of the box”, it was a result of you making me confident in superb equipment and taking a shot at 594 yards with a 40 degree angle starting at a 200 foot elevation, 5 MPH left to right wind and 2 degrees Fahrenheit in 4 feet of snow or all translated to 5.2 MOA as instructed by my G-7 range finder. One-shot, all done.
