Phil Conklin | 1000 yards out of the box

Got my new gun yesterday and had to try it out ! I told my buddy at the gun shop that I was going to take it home and shoot the 1000 yard target right out of the box. I did switch to the 2000' turret before shooting. My friends only comment was "You have got to be kidding." Conditions were perfect ,dead calm, 75 degrees , 80% humidity, 1000' elevation. The first shot (clean bore 2000' turret) was 10" low and 10" left. Not perfect but still a dead elk ! I dialed up 3 and right 3 and the pictures tell the rest of the story ! Thanks for a great gun and all that I learned at school.
