For the select few targeting extreme distance hunting, the LR-1200 configuration allows you to deliver terminal performance to 1200 yards and beyond. The custom Gunwerks action is built to accommodate the Ultra Mag cartridges with extended bullet seating in the magazine. This allows us to take full advantage of the Ultra Mag case capacity. The 7mm Ultra Mag with the 180 grain VLD bullet delivers tremendous amounts of downrange velocity with a minimum amount of wind deflection, but recoil is noticeably higher than the LR-1000 cartridges so a Gunwerks low profile muzzle break is standard.
The stock is tactical in heritage, but the custom scope setup is cutting edge long range hunting. Combined with the extra computations from the G7 BR2 ballistic rangefinder, or the G7 LRBC handheld ballistic calculator, precise compensation for drop and windage make shooting milk jugs at 1300 yards a First Shot possibility.

Like all Gunwerks LR rifles, these rifles can be configured as complete shooting systems to give you the “Out of the Box” experience. With scopes mounted and calibrated with a custom ballistic turret, and the barrels broke in and accuracy tested, you can be shooting groups on a paper plate at 1200 yards out of the box. The main design goals for the LR-1200 were to deliver 2000 fps impact velocity at 1200 yards, while minimizing atmospheric effects. In other words, less wind deflection and effective terminal performance beyond 1000 yards. With the Ultramag cartridge lineup, using special chambers and long magazine boxes, loaded with Berger VLD bullets, Ultra Long Range Hunting is the new frontier.

RIFLE WARRANTY
A Gunwerks Shooting System carries an Unconditional Lifetime Warranty. To keep your System in perfect maintenance, consider our Service Program.
A Gunwerks Shooting System is guaranteed to be free of manufacturer defects. If your Gunwerks shooting product fails due to workmanship or material defect during the life of the product, please return it to us for repair or replacement.
This warranty does not cover damages caused by improper care, modifications, accidents or the natural wear and tear of materials over extended use and time. All defective or damaged products should be returned to Gunwerks for evaluation and will be repaired or replaced. Product sent for warranty repair must be cleaned prior to sending.
Items that are purchased but are not manufactured by Gunwerks, such as scopes and cases, are not covered under the Gunwerks warranty.

Delivery
At Gunwerks, we work hard to deliver a custom rifle in six months or less. Please call for current production scheduling.
Payment
The LR-1000 requires a deposit to initiate an order, and hold your place in the production schedule. We accept Visa or Mastercard, as well as Checks and Money Orders.

$150 per service after completion of 5-year plan
Details of Plan: This is a 5-year plan. If after 5 years you wish to continue the service plan, you may purchase the reduced rate plan at $199 per service for an unlimited amount of time. You may not utilize the extended service unless you have completed the 5-year service previously. Each rifle can be serviced a maximum of one time per year. All rifles must be shipped in a hard travel gun case. If a part replacement is needed, persons on this plan will receive a reduced cost on the parts that need replaced. You can purchase the 5-year service at any point you wish. Reduced rates may be offered at the time of a rifle purchase or as part of a promotion. Shipping charges are the responsibility of the buyer.
One-Time Service
$400 per rifle, anytime
Details of Plan: This is an individual service plan only. If you wish to have your rifle serviced on a regular basis, please see the 5-year service plan package. All rifles must be shipped in a hard travel gun case. If a part replacement is needed, persons on this plan will receive a reduced cost on the parts that need replaced. You can purchase the One-Time Service at any point you wish. Reduced rates may be offered at the time of a rifle purchase or as part of a promotion.
