Thanks everyone for your interest and business this year. Gunwerks has had a tremendous year for sales and production. We've gone through some growing pains (like keeping up with ammunition production!). We have also developed better processes and products along the way. We have just finished a slight office remodel to accommodate our new office manager Karen Davidson. When you have a bunch of guys working all the time, the facilities tend to be neglected!

Current Inventory

Very shortly you should also be able to look at a list of current inventory of firearms. We have several odd ball, wildcat, or slightly used firearms available. We will also be adding information about our shooting schools with a booking and scheduling system.

New Product - Long Range Remington

quick note on a new product offering. This fall we built 50 of a custom actioned off the shelf gun we called the LR-800 model. They sold out in a matter of weeks. The custom action has many parts and processes that slow production, but we can blueprint a Remington action and build the same gun in no time flat so we decided to offer a "Long Range Remington" package. You can send in your old tried and true Model 700, and we will blueprint, rebarrel, restock, and install a custom trigger. All the metal gets a Ceramic coating in Titanium or Black color. We will install the HO 5-20 rifle scope, break the barrel in, and shoot the long range data for the custom drop turrets. It's a ready to hunt long range package for $3995. Just send in your action or call Davdison's Gallery of Guns (928-776-8055) and have them send us a new Remington SPS model and we can start from there.

Currently production for the LR-REM is under two months! Increasing sales of our flagship LR-1000 model have pushed delivery dates back to nearly four months. The LR-1000 features our custom action and LR stock, with the best barrel and trigger on the market. Reloading Notes

A quick note on Reloading for one of our Custom Shooting Systems. It is important to keep your loads safe, AND exactly the same velocity. Different lots of bullets and powder require different powder charges and seating depths to ensure that your custom drop turret is accurate. We set our loads up with the Berger VLD's 0.030" off the lands. Use a Hornaday overall length gage to make sure, and check it again the next time you get a batch of Bergers. Each production lot of Bergers is very consistent, but we do see some variation from lot to lot.

Air Density Correction

As you go out hunting this fall, let me share a simple rule of thumb to use to correct for air density changes (Elevation and Temperature). First install the closest turret to match your hunting conditions (either 2000 feet or 7000 feet). Then, in the field with a properly zeroed gun, make the following corrections for different conditions:

Remember add the correction for increased air density and subtract it for decreased air density.
